Sorry for the interruption, Wai Yee, I think you are wrong. Your example '2:6:9' is possible in ratio.

    Okay, you can continue..................

  7. Why is Wai Yee the leader here? I don't know anything about ratio. And I agree & disagree with all of you. When are we going to finish this topic? Ans by the way, I have a new question. Does ratio only compare time? I can't believe i'm the latest one to comment!

  8. "Nah,you are not the last one to comment.I posted this much much later than you,Fahim" By the way, 'think that ratio can be written in three numbers e.g:1:2:3.Hey,ratio usually CANNOT be to compare time.Only weight, height,no. of things in one group to another group, like what I posted yesterday night.Too bad Mrs Ang didn't pick me.If not, I could have got a bag from her.

  9. Haha... ratio is a way to compare objects. If you have to compare two types, then A:B. If you have 3 different types, then A:B:C.

We have used ratio to compare apples and oranges. So Fahim, you cant say that ratio is used to compare time only.
