  2. No,i do not agree.3-1 is ust the units for the red and and blue buttons so it doesn't mean i have 4 buttons but it actually means 4 units the red and blue buttons.

  3. No, I do not agree.
    The ratio 3:1 is 3units to 1unit.
1 unit may not be 1.
1 unit may be 2,3,4,5...and so on
Unless the question says that 1 unit is equal to 1, 1 unit may not be 1.

  4. NO, I DON'T AGREE. 3:1 IS THE UNITS NOT THE NUMBER LIKE WHAT SYAMIN SAID.

  6. No,I do not agree. 3:1 does not mean that it is 3+1.3:1 can also mean that it is 4x3 buttons to 3 buttons...etc.

  14. No,i do not agree to it.3:1 is not equal to 4 buttons. It equals to groups. It might also equal to 6:2.When divided,it equals to 3:1.So,3:1 is not equal to 4 buttons.

  15. 1 may not be one 1,3 may not be 3.So,1:3 may not be =4.

  17. No,I do not agree because the ratio of red marbles to blue marbles is 1:3 and it is in units, not the number of marbles. :)

  18. Daryl, why do you agree?
    Can you explain why?

  21. Why did you say you can either agree or disagree, Jasmine?

  22. No,I do not agree. 1:3 is the units, not the number of buttons.

  23. No,I don't agree.3 only represents 3 units for the red.1 unit only represents 1 unit for red.

  24. The number of red buttons is 3.The number of blue buttons is 1.So,it is 3+1=4

    ReplyDelete
  25. no i do not agree .the real answer may be simplified to 3 to 1

    ReplyDelete
  26. 1 =1 units 3=3 units

    ReplyDelete
  27. no I do not agree
    3:1 is only the units

    ReplyDelete
  28. The number of red buttons is 3.The number of blue buttons is 1.So,it is 3+1=4

  29. i agree.......

because a button is always a button....
and even if it is a different colour.....
    it is still a button.............

    so 1+3=4.....

    so it is 4 buttons.....

  30. Possible and impossible it can be 3 blue buttons and 1 red button and it can be 3 units of blue buttons and 1 unit of blue buttons

    ReplyDelete
  31. No.The ratio may be 12:4 in its simplest form.

I do not agree with it as it can be simplified to the smallest term.Maybe, the exact ratio is 9:3.
