For me it is not'think',it is 'accurate'.We need exactly 9 clips as 2 sticks equals to 3 clips. So,I take 6 sticks and divide it by 2 and the answer is 3.Then, I take 3 and multiply it by 3 clips.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Eight. The difference between the number of sticks and the number of paper clips measured by Mr Short is 2.So when Mr Tall was measured in paper clips,he had to add 2 to the number of paper clips.

    ReplyDelete
  42. maybe we need 9 paper clips for Mr Tall .

  45. It is 9 because 1 stick is equal to 3 paperclips,so 6 sticks are equal to 3+3+3+3+3+3,which is equal to 18.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 1 and the half paper clips is equal to 1 stick. So,if Mr Tall is 6 sticks long,he will be: 1x6-6 halfx6-3 So,3 add 6-9.Then,the answer is 9 paper clips long.

    ReplyDelete
  47. 2 sticks is equal to 6 paper clips.
    6 divide by 2 is 3(obviously!!!)
    3 add 6 is 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Is it really 9?

    ReplyDelete
  49. 6 divide 2 is 3
    6 add 3 is 9
    9 is the answer
    everyone,GET IT???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. maybe the answer is 9

    ReplyDelete
  51. mr short needs 6 paperclips and mr tall needs6 sticks

    ReplyDelete
  52. The answer is 9 paper clips.

The ratio of the number of sticks to the number of paper clips is 2 : 3.
This means that the length of 2 sticks = the length of 3 paperclips.

So Mr Tall is 6 sticks tall = 9 paper clips

    Good Job!
